The Story Behind GeekyBeast.com
Growing up in the '80s, I didn’t have proper toys—just freebies from cheap snacks at our local sari-sari store, a small, family-run neighborhood shop common in the Philippines. These simple toys sparked my imagination, and I promised myself that one day, when I had a decent job, I’d collect the ones I really wanted as a kid: Transformers, Macross, G.I. Joe, and all the classics.
That dream started to come true in 2007, when the first live-action Transformers movie hit the theaters. I began collecting action figures, with Jazz, Chromia, and Bumblebee being the first members of my collection.
Fast forward to 2020 during the peak of the COVID-19 outbreak. It was during those uncertain times that the idea for GeekyBeast.com was born. What started as a simple hobby turned into a passion project: a digital home for geeks.
GeekyBeast.com is meant to be a one stop hub for gamers, collectors, and pop culture lovers. A place where we can share our love for action figures, tech trends, gaming news, and everything that makes geek culture awesome.
